Over many years of designing all over the world we have worked hard to refine our ethos, resources and aim, to encourage the use of natural fibers and plant, mineral and mushroom dyes in design, as well as supporting fellow artists and highly encouraging slow fashion, in a fast-paced global economy.

Her vision and inspiration weave the threads of this unique and colorful tapestry

Ayala is the co-founder of Threads of Creation
.
She has spent decades honing and cultivating her craft to fully represent the sustainability, resourcefulness, and creativity which is the essence of threads of creation. ultimately the vision that she channels into this wearable art form. Whilst studying Fine Arts in painting and photography at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Ayala found herself beginning to dabble in the world of sewing and up-cycling clothing as an alternative creative outlet
.
with this passion kindled, what was a spark was soon ignited into a flame + whole new reality exploring the cross over of mediums from painting and print making to design and fiber arts opened up from there. for many years ayala studied and traveled the world, refining her skills of design, pattern-making, sewing, and plant dyeing fabrics. she strives to make her products as natural and minimal-waste as possible, with her kids and the planet in mind, whilst at the same time crafting comfortable pieces she herself would love to wear

Her biggest inspirations are the wild and epic landscapes rich with the elements and color which she always incorporates into her art. ayala lives with her partner in life, and business, devdev and two (nearly three!) sweet young children in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of Northern California. they love to explore nature, work on creative projects and share art and music with friends and community
